To stone a glass river,
the dream must first veer
from first ivory's foreign ear

and day's wane
would wanly vein
the three framed aiming

insane
the sun inside a cloud
a legless worm

some blather on a pane
now washed by tiny hands
the same

II.

Pour en pierre d'une rivière en verre,
le rêve doit d'abord tourner
de l'oreille étrangère ivoire premier

et le jour de déclin
serait un pâle veine
visant les trois encadrés

fou
le soleil intérieur d'un nuage
un ver sans pattes

des paroles en l'air sur un volet
désormais lavé par de petites mains
le même
