  1. i like that word 'apogee' and looked it up....Along with 'perigee' it refers to orbits around the earth...or some some nonsense....anyway, i guess it works for a false mole, but wouldn't 'Smelly' also? It's possible I don't know what i'm talking about...

  2. I just liked how it meant both

furthest and in a cultural sense
height or greatest distance from origin.

The phrase came to me after remembering an R. Pettibone
drawing of a sleeping angel whose thought bubble was something like

history is a nightmare from which i am trying to awake..

    somesuch.

    your irreverence is greatly appreciated!!

  3. also if you havent seen Viveca Lindfors performance in _These Are the Damned_ I can't consider you fully human, or otherwise!

Also Viveka is a sonskrit word that means

    discrimination

another one of those labrys words
that has both a positive and negative connotation..

  4. Lanny,

Brilliant final triplet. Those false moles shall never again go nameless.

"...not fully human"--is that a bad thing?

Harking back to our insectoid/android category dialogue... of interest currently because this week I'm on category

    Ghosts

    Come haunting any time!

  5. I stand corrected Tom, of course "not fully human" is totally fine, but it does reveal some of my early scholastic programming. I had a philosophy teacher who made us memorize some godawful long thing (which I've forgotten) and if we passed the test we got a button that said 'fully human'..

my apologies, I was just trying to
be funny, and it still IS sort of funny because the children in _These are the damned_ are NOT fully human anymore, and it is sort of the point of the film.

I still think Viveca's speech in that film is one of my favorites!

    :)

    I will check out ghosts!
