glossary habitus



 when tusks are bleached white
 eyesockets culled
 when black diamonds rim
 the hull who casts no burden
 forearm
 forearm
 and forehead too
 no hands but tusks
 to do the smooth labor
 of puncturing the eyes
 which like divans go no further
 than the page
 who presents them to the sublime porte
 or the serene air
 the untroubled turbulence
 which as the wondrous home
 of the spark and the carcass
 holds its iris of a tongue
 out sweetly
