the man with the shaved head
was soon braying

tween dog and wolf
an opera about the tower
of Babel led us to be-
lieve that the archer might per-
ceive a higher note
than any could sing
the cranes once found positions
in an area not visible to the center
of the circle in which to draw
their dances (behind the screen)
it was two summer days
on the fawn planet
