THE UNINITIATED

at a short distance form
the soft castle its
golden arms lay severed
and arranged
in a simple emblem
of letter

the round and circulating letter
gave breath
where the painful nomen
of its cuff's dove
became in hand
a word the sword

in a graven castle of its soft
armless golden symbol
the will of its animal name
left no doubt unsure of itself
in the distance where
an eye would stop
cold upon the meadow
a measured warmth
knowledge as torso

these two loose mineral arms
are not images
and they were not removed
but designed to look severed
the original being
was the golden mechanical being
whose innards glided precisely
holding various volumes of solutions
and it moved about easily
in the flames of the sun

but these volumes were wove soft
once the egg of caput mortuum
were planned into the present sea
its black claw is president (black nail)
of no omniscient values

in space the black tree
twists at a single knee
space claims alchemy (poesy)
in its dream
of the lowest low
and the highest high
and the thigh of gold
is a livery box
with nothing inside
but little bodies dancing
broken and daunting
is the mood muse

and mute then they come out
where the angles starch (when)
guillotine muchroom stars

the glad echoes
these unique moments
are part of the recipe
whose strange knowledge
is the glean
of future air

and the little gold corpse
on a bed flame
is no map to unintended
consequences
