the pig

has an abstract purple
birthmark that spreads
around one eye
and someone has strapped on
a large purple shark's fin
around its head to match it

and someone has painted
the hog's nose green
so that
in the pure yellow day
i fear the long green ghost
the blue face that it shows
that is not its face
but the face that it sues
over the fiery orange and blue keys
of its burning typewriter
the mouse who looks out of the carriage
at the head hopping alone
on the dark horizon
where only the green ghost moves
and the hot pink pig
with a purple shark's fin
strapped to its head
